Important: Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, the work already completed, the accepted quotation, any applicable written agreement and applicable law. This policy does not remove any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

01

Overview of Our Refund Policy

TechInArticle provides digital services such as digital marketing, SEO, website development and other services agreed with clients. Services may involve professional time, project planning, design work, technical setup, third-party purchases and other costs.

For this reason, refund requests are reviewed according to the service scope, project status, payment terms and applicable legal requirements.

Submitting a refund request does not automatically mean that a refund will be approved. Each request will be assessed fairly against the applicable terms.
02

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to services purchased directly from TechInArticle, subject to the terms agreed for the relevant order or project.

Digital Marketing

Paid marketing, organic marketing and related campaign services covered by the accepted scope.

Website Development

Website design, development, setup and other agreed website deliverables.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO services and optimization work included in the applicable proposal.

Additional Services

Design, editing, content or other individual services where purchased from TechInArticle.

If a specific proposal, signed agreement or package contains additional cancellation or refund terms, those terms should be read together with this policy.

03

Cancellation Requests

Clients who wish to cancel a service should contact TechInArticle in writing as soon as possible. Please include the order or invoice reference, service name, payment details and reason for cancellation.

Before Work Begins

If a cancellation request is received before work has started, eligibility for a refund will depend on the agreed terms and whether any processing, planning, booking or third-party costs have already been incurred.

After Work Has Started

If work has already begun, any refundable amount may depend on the work completed, resources committed, approved expenses and applicable legal requirements. Charges will not be imposed contrary to applicable law.

Ongoing Services

Recurring services, including monthly marketing or SEO arrangements, may be cancelled in accordance with the notice period and other conditions stated in the accepted service agreement.

Cancellation of a recurring service does not necessarily cancel amounts already due for services delivered or costs properly incurred under the accepted agreement.
04

Refund Eligibility

Refund requests will be evaluated individually. Depending on the circumstances and applicable terms, a request may be eligible for a full or partial refund.

Factors that may be considered include:

  • Whether the service has commenced.
  • The proportion of work completed at the time of the request.
  • Whether deliverables have already been supplied or approved.
  • Whether third-party charges or other approved expenses have been incurred.
  • Whether TechInArticle has been unable to provide an agreed service.
  • The specific terms in the quotation or service agreement.
  • Any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable law.

If an agreed service has not been delivered as promised, please contact us with the relevant details so that the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate resolution considered.

05

Third-Party and Other Costs

Certain projects may involve external costs. Examples include domain registration, web hosting, premium plugins, software licences, stock images, paid tools and advertising platform charges.

Where such expenses have been approved by the Client and incurred on their behalf, they may not be refundable by TechInArticle if the relevant third-party provider does not offer a refund, subject to applicable law and the agreed terms.

  • Domain registration and renewal charges.
  • Hosting and server charges.
  • Premium themes, plugins and software licences.
  • Advertising spend paid to external platforms.
  • Approved purchases of stock media or third-party assets.
Third-party charges will not be described as non-refundable in circumstances where a refund is required by applicable law or is otherwise available under the relevant provider’s terms.
06

Digital Products and Creative Services

Digital and creative services may include graphic design, video editing, reel editing, content writing, creative assets and other deliverables prepared according to the Client’s brief.

Once work has been completed, delivered or approved, cancellation and refund eligibility may be limited under the agreed terms, subject to applicable law.

If a delivered item contains an error or does not reasonably match the agreed brief, the Client should notify TechInArticle and provide the relevant details. Where appropriate, we may correct the issue in accordance with the agreed revision scope.

A request for a new design direction, additional deliverables or changes outside the original brief may be treated as additional work and quoted separately.

07

Website Development Refunds

Website projects may involve planning, design, development, configuration, testing, third-party purchases and deployment.

If a website project is cancelled, the amount payable or refundable will be assessed against the agreed milestones, work completed, deliverables supplied, third-party expenses and applicable law.

  • Work completed before cancellation may be chargeable under the accepted agreement.
  • Approved third-party purchases will be handled according to their applicable terms.
  • Uncompleted milestones will be assessed against payments received and the contract terms.
  • Handover of work, files or access will be handled in accordance with payment terms and the accepted agreement.

Please review the project quotation carefully for any specific advance payment, milestone, delivery or cancellation conditions before confirming an order.

08

Digital Marketing and SEO Services

Digital marketing and SEO involve ongoing activities and factors outside the service provider’s complete control. Search rankings, website traffic, leads, sales and advertising performance can vary.

A refund will not be assessed solely on the basis that a particular ranking, number of leads or business result was not achieved, unless the applicable written agreement or law provides otherwise.

Clients who have concerns about campaign execution, agreed deliverables or reporting should contact us with supporting information so the matter can be reviewed.

Advertising spend paid directly to an advertising platform is separate from TechInArticle’s service fee. Refunds of platform charges are subject to the platform’s own terms and applicable law.
09

Review and Response

TechInArticle will review the information provided and may request additional details where necessary. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days, where reasonably practicable.

This is a target response period, not a guarantee that every case will be resolved within that time. Complex disputes or requests requiring third-party confirmation may take longer.

Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, the processing method and estimated timeline will be communicated to the Client. The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on the payment provider or bank.

10

Complaints and Service Disputes

If you believe a service does not meet the agreed scope, please contact us with a clear description of the issue and relevant evidence.

Where appropriate, TechInArticle may discuss corrective work, revised delivery arrangements, a partial refund or another reasonable resolution in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

Nothing in this policy prevents a Client from exercising statutory consumer rights or seeking remedies through a competent authority where legally entitled to do so.

11

Exceptions and Policy Updates

Certain services or promotional packages may have additional conditions. Any such conditions should be communicated to the Client before purchase and must comply with applicable law.

TechInArticle may update this policy from time to time. The latest version published on the website will display its revision date.

Changes will apply as permitted by law and will not remove rights that have already accrued or override a binding agreement where doing so would be legally ineffective.
